Died Nov. 7, 2003

NEW CUMBERLAND – Services will be held Monday for Jerome N. Cooper, 51, who died Friday, Nov. 7, 2003, at home.
He was born in Steubenville June 22, 1952, a son of Delores Robinson Cooper of New Cumberland and the late William Richard Cooper.
He was employed as a stove tender in the blast furnace department at Weirton Steel Co. and was a member of Mercy Baptist Church in Weirton.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Wendy R. Pepper Cooper of Weirton; a daughter, Heather Long of New Cumberland; three sons, Jeremy Cooper of New Cumberland, Brennan Gum of Weirton and Jarrett Gum of Tennessee; three sisters, Veronica Blake, Monica Albaugh and Sherry Cassella of New Cumberland.
Pastor James Rhodes will conduct the services at 1 p.m. at the Turley Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Cumberland Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
