Harriet Saltsman
Died Oct. 5, 2003

SALINEVILLE – Harriet F. Saltsman, 78, died at home peacefully, Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003, after a long illness.
She was born Dec. 30, 1924, in East Liverpool, a daughter of the late Paul and Minnie (Taylor) Alford.
She was a member of Assembly of God Church and retired as a finisher for the Homer Laughlin China Co.
Survivors include husband, William D. Saltsman; daughter, Dorothy Hawk and Minnie Adkins of Wilmington, N. C.; sons, Robert Wilson Jr., William Wilson, Richard Wilson of Salineville and Harold Wilson of Elyria, Ohio; step-daughter, Donna Martin of Salineville; stepson, Donald Saltsman of Lisbon; sisters, Verla Swogger of Wellsville, Gloria Landford of LaCroft, Loretta Montgomery and Phyllis Trainer of East Liverpool; brothers, Kenneth Alford of Columbiana and Paul Alford of Salineville; 24 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Wilson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home, with Rev. Rodney Ohler of the church presiding. Burial will follow in Highlandtown Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
