Illness Takes East End Man
Rites Set Saturday For Leo Howell, 64
Leo Howell, 1616 Glove St., a resident of this vicinity for 50 years, died Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at his home after an illness of 7 years. He was 64.
Born in Belmont County, he was a decorator at Sterling China Co. and was a member of the IBOP. His wife, Eula Marie Howell, died Aug. 26, 1953.
He is survived by three sons, Kenneth W. Howell, William G. Howell and Jack O. Howell, all of East Liverpool; two daughters, Mrs. Alma Dray of East Liverpool and Mrs. Shirley Gulutz of El Monte, Calif.; two brothers, John R. Howell of East Liverpool and Donald J. Howell of Coshocton; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Jenkins of Wichita, Kan., Mrs. Olive Everett of Canton and Mrs. Ada Anthony of Silvis, Ill., and eight grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Martin Funeral Home by Robert Helstrom, student pastor of the Second United Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the Calcutta United Presbyterian Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home this afternoon and tonight.
