J. C. Weden Funeral To Be Held On Friday
Funeral services for John C. Weden, who would have been 80 years ole in September will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the residence, 331 Harvard St., and at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with burial in Tod Cemetery.
Mr. Weden died at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday at his home. He had been a night watchman at the United Engineering and Foundry Co. until his retirement 20 years ago.
Coming to Youngstown in 1882, Mr. Weder was a member of St. Paul’s Church and the Sick Relief League of the Church. He was born in Mechlenberg, Germany, September 3rd, 1956, the son of the late Frederick and Sophia Foidel Weden.
His wife died in 1915. Mr. Weden leaves four daughters, Mrs. Charles Arndt, and Mrs. William Stegman, of Youngstown; Mrs. L. W. McIntyre, of Hubbard; and Mrs. Charles Vogelsang of Cleveland; two sons, Harry of Cleveland and Otto of California; 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
