FREDERICKTOWN – Services will be held Tuesday for Rita Ellen “Sis: Johnston, 55, Main Street, who died at 7:32 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 1995, at City Hospital, where she was admitted Friday.
She was born Aug. 30, 1939, at Alderville, Ontario, Canada, a daughter of the late William Marsden and Marjorie Bigwin Marsden Dailey
She lived most of her life in Fredericktown. She was a waitress at the East Liverpool Motor Lodge. She was a member of the Tri-County Four Wheelers.
She is survived by her husband Harry “Al” Johnston, whom she married June 17, 1962, a daughter, Marji Jo Johnston, at home; two sons, Allen Scott Johnston and Raymond D. Johnston, at home; a sister, Mrs. Thomas (Penny) Pyles of East Liverpool; two brothers, James Dailey of Lisbon and Morley Marsden of East Liverpool; and a granddaughter, Tiffany Jo Keyes, at home.
The Rev. Ralph Compa of the Grace Bible Ministries Church will conduct the services at 11 a.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Clarkson Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
