MIDLAND – Donald Ciardullo 71, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2001, at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh.
He was born in Laurigno, Italy , Dec. 16, 1929, a son of he late Francesco and Concetta Valentini Ciardullo.
He retired from the former Crucible Steel Colt Industries, where he had been employed in the Sub-stations as an electrician. He was a member of the St. Blaise Parish Family and served with the U. S. Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Gilda Natale Ciardullo, at home; two brothers, Frank Ciardullo of Denver, Colo., and Paul Ciardull of Wallingford, Conn.; and a sister, Angie Cilli of Midland.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning at the church. Burial will be in Beaver Cemetery. Full military rites will be conducted by the /American Legion Post 481 Honor Guard.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday t the D. L. Williams Funeral Home, where a blessing service will be held at 7:30.
