COLUMBIANA – Services will be held Wednesday for Ruth S. Wimer, 102, of South Main Street, who died at 2: 05 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2001, at the Parkside health Care Center, where she had been a patient for the past six years.
She was born in Butler, Pa., Dec. 8, 1898, a daughter of the late David and Ida Cooper McCullough.
She had been a member of the former Rogers Church of Christ.
She is survived by five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mont. L. Wimer, and four daughters, Margaret “Peg” Michalak, Virginia Allen, Vida McCullough and Lillian Baker.
Evangelist Jerry Pingley of the Pleasantview Church of Christ, Gilford Lake, will conduct services at 11 a.m. a the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home in East Palestine. Burial will be in the Zion Baptist Cemetery in Portersville, Pa..
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before the time of service Wednesday.
