NEW CUMBERLAND – Rosemary McLaughlin, 70, of Madison Street, died Tuesday, July 31, 2001, at Weirton Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
She was born in New Cumberland Oct. 24, 1930, a daughter of the late Clyde E. and Mary J. Ferguson Shenefield.
She was a self-employed notary and tax preparer and was a Protestant.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George F. McLaughlin Sr.
She is survived by four sons, Kenneth R. Bartley Jr., Michael E. Bartley and George F. McLaughlin Jr. of New Cumberland and Alan D. Bartley of Springfield, Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Rhonda E.) Radeski of New Cumberland; two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Doris Mae) Stebler of Canton and Mrs. Charles (Madona) Davis of West Liberty, W. Va.;’ 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Craig Greathouse will conduct services at noon Friday at the Turley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in New Manchester.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight and 2to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
