MIDLAND – Evelyn “Lucy” Doughty Brucker, 87, died Saturday, Aug.4, 2001,at the Beaver Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born in Fredericktown, Ohio, May 6, 1914, a daughter of the late James elmer and Gertrude “Evelyn” Bussard Doughty.
She was a member of the Free Methodist Church of Ohioville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cahrles Edward Brucker, and a son, Charles Brucker Jr.
She is survived by a son, James Brucker of Unity, Ohio; two brothers, Glenn Doughty and Darryl Doughty of Midland, four sisters, Dorothy Heffner and Mrs. Kenneth (Eula Mae) Mattern of Kissimmee, Fla., Marian Justice of Midland and Mrs. Robert (Mary K.) Schettler of East Liverpool; two grandchildren, three foster grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pastor Wilmer Olszewski will conduct private services at the Schwerha Funeral Home.
Private burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and form 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
