CHESTER – Paul D. Sherman, 69, of Railroad Street, died Tuesday, July 31, 2001, at the Robert Boyce Pavilion.
He was born in New Castle, Pa., Sept,. 24, 1931, a son of the late Lewis E. and Lulabelle Dodds Sherman.
He was employed at Weirton Steel Co. as a motor inspector in the Blooming Mill until retirement. He was a Protestant.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lee Alger Sherman; six sons, Joe Palauskas and James Paulauskas of Chester, John Paulauskas of Thompson, Tenn., Jeff Sherman of Tacoma, Wash., Ralph Sherman of Broadway, N. C. and William Sherman of New Castle; two daughters, Mrs. Lee (Leeann) Huff of Chester and Pam Davis of Sanford, N. C.; 12grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Aaron Gooden will conduct the services at 11 a.m. Friday at the Arner Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
