CHESTER – Mary Marie Mossor of Carolina Avenue died at 8 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2001,at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa., following a lengthy illness.
She was the daughter of the late Burton and Clara May Wright Cumberledge.
Mrs. Mossor lived in the Chester area most of her life where she was employed at National Church Supply for 20 years. She was a Methodist by faith and attended First United Methodist Church in Chester.
She is survived by her husband, Carlton D. Mossor, whom she married Jan.27, 1961, at home; four sisters, Gerty Boyce of Midland, Bertha Strable of Beaver, Pa., Lillian Hawk of Industry, Pa., and Elizabeth Bowersock of Wampum, Pa.; four brothers, Troy Cumberledge and Charles Cumberledge of Monaca, Pa., Albert Reynolds of Industry and Elmer Cumberledge of New Brighton, Pa.
The Rev. Aaron Gooden of the church will conduct services at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park. A reception will follow at the Dawson Family Center.
Friends may call the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
