FT.LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Odell Michael Lawson, 70, formerly of Wellsville, died Friday, July 13, 2001, at Holy Cross hospital of cancer.
He was born in East Liverpool Dec. 29, 1930, a son of the late Thurman Lawson and Verna Allison.
He retired from the U. s. Navy, the U. S. Air Force and the U. S. Civil Service.
He is survived by a brother, T. E. “John” Lawson of Aurora, Colo., and a sister, Irena Lawson Tuft of Aliquippa, Pa.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Orin Allison.
Family memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Harvey’s Creek Baptist Church in Hurricane, W. Va. Services also will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 15, 200, at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington D.C.
