EAST LIVERPOOL – James A. Owen, 47, of Bell School Road, died at 10:54 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, 2001, at City Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born in East Liverpool May 13, 1952, a son of the late Rev. William H. and Mary Colbert Owen.
He was a member of the Wesleyan Holiness Church.
He is survived by two sisters, Patricia Hippely Crowe and Deborah Owen of Lisbon; and two brothers, William H. Owen of Stuart, Fla., and Stephen P. Owen of Columbiana.
The Rev. Howard McConkey of the church will conduct services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at eh Dawson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in Rogers.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
