Mrs. Barbara Coleman Anderson
Mrs. Barbara Coleman Anderson, 83, of 2834 Fifth Avenue, Beaver Falls, died Friday evening, Sept. 16, 1966, following a heart attack at her home. Born Oct. 12, 1882, the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Gardner Stitt, she resided in the College Hill area of Beaver Falls the past 60 years. She was a member of the College Hill Methodist Church and the JOC Circle and Anna Vaughn Bible Class of the church.
She was preceded in death byher first husband, Theodore Coleman, in 1939 and by her second husband, Charles A. Anderson in 1953.
Surviving are two stepdaughters, Mrs. David (Mable) Welsh, Chippewa Township, and Mrs. Beatrice Nicklos, Ellwood City’ two sisters, Mrs. Flora Henderson, Chippewa Township, and Mrs. Elizabeth Van Tassle, Toledo, Ohio; one brother, William Stitt, Canton Ohio; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received after 7 p.m. today in the A. D. Campbell Funeral Home, 14th Street and Eighth Avenue, Beaver Falls, where funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. by her pastor, Rev. Charles E. Goodin. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery.
