Jacob N. Melott
jacob N. Melott 1010 Waterloo St died suddenly, Sunday at 10:30 pm in City
hospital. He was 52.
An employee of the Homer Laughlin China Co for 10 years, he came to East
Liverpool from East palestine. He was a member of the NBOP
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Nellie Melott, four sons, John Melott, Charles
Melott, Terry J Melott, and Jerry Eugene Melott at home, nine daughters,
Mrs. Claudia Pierson and Mrs. Dorkis Crawford of East Liverpool, Mrs.
Jacqueline Parson of Newell, Mrs. Emma Lee Weddle of Rogers, and Mary Jane
Melott, Betty Lou Melott, Twila Jean Melott, Nancy Melott, and Linda Joe
Melott at home, two brothers, Frank Melott of Chester and James Paul Melott
in the Navy; five sisters, Mrs. Fred McGaffic and Mrs. Arthur Clendenning of
Lawrenceville, near Chester, Mrs. William Miller of Cedartown, PA., Mrs.
Carl Van Oorman of paris, PA and Mrs. Edward Greathouse of East Liverpool
and seven grandchildren.
Rites will be held Wednesday at 2pm in the Dawson funeral home. Burial will
be in Anchortown Cemetery. Firends may call Tuesday night at the funeral
home.
