Clara “Bunny” Clark, 88, of New Cumberland passed away Monday, May 12, 2008.
She was born August 17, 1919,in Zalia, the daughter of the late Samuel and Ella Canner (*Canter) Vincent. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, William McLaughlin; her second husband, Andrew Clark; a brother, John Vincent and two sisters, Pearle Cullen and Mable Fagen.
Bunny started out working as an aide, then became a cook a the Hancock County Children’s Home, and also cleaned homes. She was a member of the New Cumberland Free Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen Myers and Husband Stephen of Oklahoma and Elizabeth “Betty” Skinner of New Cumberland; a son, William McLaughlin of New Cumberland; seven grandchildren, Barbara Bunch, Tommy Allen, Dale Allen, Chester Ray Martin, William A McLaughlin, Chick Skinner and Scott Skinner; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at the New Cumberland Chapel of the Nixon Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Thomas officiating. Interment followed at the Union Cemetery in New Manchester.
