Steve Brown, who operated Steve’s Restaurant at 111 E. 6th St., residing in an apartment above, died Friday at 2:30 p.m. at his home following an illness of several weeks. He was 72.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Brown at home; two step-daughters, Mrs. Zoa Elizabeth Moore of New Martinsville, and Mrs. Florence Copestick of Colorado Springs, and a step-son, Birchard Sheets, also of New Martinsville.
Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Dawson Duneral Home by the Rev. William P. Jones of Butler, former pastor of the Avondale St. Free Methodist Church. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home today and Sunday.
