EAST PALESTINE – Mrs. Ella M. Roshon, 85, of 3160 N. Pleasant Dr., formerly of W. Clark St., died Saturday at 7 p.m. at East Liverpool Convalescent Center where she had resided for more than a year.
She had been ill for 18 months. Mrs. Roshon was born Aug. 31, 1898 in Chatham, Ohio, a daughter of Ernest Barnhart and Fanny Chapman Barnhart.
At one time she worked as a mold runner ft the former W. S. George Pottery. She was a member of the First Church of Christ. Her husband, C. Paul Roshon, whom she married March 12, 1913 preceded her in death Feb. E, 1949. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Viola Glossen, Mrs. Bonnie Ptlugh and Mrs. Evelyn Faulk, all of East Palestine, Mrs. Dorothy Totalaker of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Waunetta Hogue of Columbiana, a son, Robert A. Roshon of Rogers; 28 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Van Dyke Swaney Funeral Home here by Robert Helbeck, associate pastor . Burial will be in Glenview cemetery. Friends may call a the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
