Margaret LaNeve Falascino, 85, died on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Friendship Ridge in Beaver, PA. Prior to moving to Beaver, Margaret had been a forty year resident of Dormont, PA.
She was born February 10, 1923 in Newell, a daughter of the late Dominick and Josephine Pranno LaNeve. She was also preceded in death by her husband; five sisters, Antoinette Peluso, Frances Manypenny, Rose Ruggire, Mary Yanni and Delores Adkins and a brother, James LaNeve.
Before marrying the late John Falascino and moving to Pennsylvania, Margaret had worked as a clerk for the Equitable Insurance Company in East Liverpool.
Margaret had been an active and involved Catholic all her life and had been a member of the St. Aloysius Community Parish where she was involved in the altar & Rosary Society and the Catholic Daughters of America.
She is survived by three sisters, Dorothy Hicks of East Liverpool and Rita and Ann LaNeve of Newell, as well as several devoted nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Rev. Father Bernard N. Gaeta was the celebrant for a mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St Aloysius Community Parish. Interment followed at the Queen of Heavens Cemetery in McMurray, PA. Arner Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the tribute program at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942
