City Pastor’s Father Claimed Suddenly
Fred Boardman Brunstetteer, 80 of Newton Falls, father of the Rev. Glenn A. Brunstetter of the Pennsylvania Ave. Methodist Church, died of a heart attack Friday at 12:30 p.m. while walking home from the business section of Newton Falls.
Mr. Brunstetter was born May 28, 1881, in Boardman. He was married 57 years ago yesterday- Feb. 2. 1905- to Mary Gautscki. He formerly resided at Phalanx Mills and had lived in Newton Falls 15 years. A retired farmer, he was a member of the Methodist Church. He had served as a member of the Braceville Township trustees for several years.
Survivors include his widow, four other sons, Harry F. Brunstetter and Harold H. Brunstetter, both of Warren and Delbert H. Brunstetter and Milford H. Brunstetter, both of Levittsbburg; a brother, Jerry Brunstetter of Warren and 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the James Funeral Home at Newton Falls by the rev. Leonard Confar and the Rev. Theodore Brumbaugh. Burial will be in Braceville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
