Services for Mrs. Lena Moore Richards, 79, a former resident of East Liverpool, were held at 1 p.m. at the Billow Falls Chapel in Cuyahoga Falls by Dr. Lloyd G. Schell. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery there.
Mrs. Richards died Tuesday at the Middlebury Manor Nursing Home in Akron after a lingering illness.
She was born in Pittsburgh in 1888 and had resided in East Liverpool for 27 years, where she owned and operated the Moore Beauty Sop for 18 years. She later moved to Summit County, where she lived for 27 years. Her last place of residence was Cuyahoga Falls.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cuyahoga Falls and a charter member of Krumroy Unit 1 Senior Citizens.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dixie Nicholson, and a sister, Mrs. Louella Jennings both of Cuyahoga Falls, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
