EAST LIVERPOOL -- Floyd E. Swiger, 70, of Cadmus Street, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2002, at the Medical Center of Beaver following an extended illness.
He was born in Hamnondsville, Ohio, July 23, 1932, a son of the late Donald Swiger Jr. and Thelma (Francis) Brooks.
He lived his entire life in the area and was a chauffer to Ben Feldman for 10 years. He belonged to the Grace Baptist Temple.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Siger at home; two sons, Floyd Joseph Swiger of Wellsburg, W.Va., and Thomas Edwin Swiger of East Liverpool; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Emily J.) Thomas of New Boston, Texas, and Mrs. Thomas (Edith C.) McCune of East Liverpool; two sisters, Joanne Bell and Dorothy Elliot of East Liverpool; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Grace Baptist Temple, with Pastor Gaylord Cox officiating.
The Calcutta Chapel of the Martin-MacLeean-Altmeyer Funeral Homes in in charge of the arrangements.
