EAST LIVERPOOL – Services will be held Saturday for Daisy Mae Celio, 82, of the Adkins Convalescent Center, formerly of Dresden Avenue, who died at 3:08 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, 2001, at the Robert E. Boyce Pavilion City Hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born in St. Marys, Ohio, Dec. 9, 1918, the daughter of the late Homer J. and Mary E. Bauchar Hoffman.
She attended the First Church of Christ Disciples and was restaurant owner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo Celio.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Edwin (Molly) Hibbs of Tampa, Fla.; two sons, John H. Garey and Kenneth E. Garey of East Liverpool; a step-son, David Celio of Pittsburgh; two sisters, Rachel DeLaney of East Liverpool and Gertrude Barrett Gloeff of Brooksville, Fla.; 13 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren
The Rev. James Thomson of the church will conduct services at 2 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Hoffman Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home two hours prior to the service Saturday.
