EAST LIVERPOOL Jane Crable, 87, of Lang Street, died at 9:55 a.m. Friday, Aug. 25, 2001, at East Liverpool city Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in East Liverpool July t, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Edgar R. Crable and Clara “Nina” M. McLaughlin Crable and was a lifetime resident of East Liverpool
Following graduation from East Liverpool High School in 1932, she became employed at the Vodrey Law office and later Commercial Decal, where she retired as a secretary in 1979.
She is survived by a niece, Betsy Crable Miller, and her husband, William L. Miller of East Liverpool; one East Liverpool cousin, William C. Pusey; a sister-in-law, Frances Crable Sutter of Pittsburgh; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Ms. Crable was preceded in death by a brother, Richard R. Crable, who died in April 1970, and a nephew, Richard F. Crable, who died in July 1990.
Friends may call at the Dawson Funeral Home from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be conducted at he funeral home at 4 p.m. Sunday by the Rev. James.Slate of Trinity Church. A reception will be held at the Dawson Family Center following the service. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery on Monday.
