Mrs. Alice Mathias

Mrs. Alice C. Mathias, 72, of 1529 Pennsylvania Ave. died today at 5:30 a.m. at City Hospital where she was admitted shortly after becoming ill at home.
Mrs. Mathias was born June 13, 1900, at Trieste, Austria, a daughter of the late Louis and Rose Corradi. She spent most of her life in East Liverpool. Her husband, John F. Mathias, died in 1941
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. James (Esther) Burns of San Bernadino, Calif.; three sons, John F. Mathias, Ralph R. Mathias and Robert L. Mathias, all of East Liverpool; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Cadore of New York City and Mrs. Abel (Pauline) Communale of East McKeesport; five brothers, John Corradi, Joseph Corradi, Brenard Corradi and Frank Corradi, all of New York City and Anthony Corradi of Connecticut; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home by the Rev. Dean McElroy of the Calvary United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery.
Frineds may call at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon and evening.
