Services will be held Tuesday, for Mrs. Mary C. Davis, 67, of Darlington RD 2, who died Saturday at 2:45 a.m. in City Hospital here, where she had been a patient a week.
Mrs. Davis was born Oct. 16, 1911, in Rogers, a daughter of John Souders and Gertrude Greer Souders.
She had resided in Darlington 35 years, coming from Negley. She was a member of the Cannelton Community Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, John Edward Davis, whom she married Jan. 26, 1931, survivors include four sons, Larry A. Davis of Darlington, Samuel B. Davis of New Waterford, Glenn E. (Jake) Davis and Gale Davis, both of East Palestine; two daughters, Mrs. Jo Ann Barnhouse of Walnut, Calif., and Mrs. Eileen Phiffer of Phoenix, Ariz.; a broterh, Glenn Souders of Negley, three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Gorby of Negley, Mrs. Jean Hostetter of East Palestine and Mrs. Ora Lou McKnight of Beaver Falls; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The rites will be conducted Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home in East Palestine by the Rev. Timothy R. Bennett. Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens
Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
