Elizabeth C. “Tootsie” Cain
Died Feb. 21, 2004

CHESTER – Elizabeth C. Cain, age 77, of Alpine Way died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004 after a brief illness.
She was born March 11, 1926, the daughter of the last Clyde and Ida (Boyd) Dugan, and lived most of her life in this area working as a Machine Operator with the American Paper Products and Monthly Mailing in Chester.
Mrs. Cain enjoyed traveling, playing cards with the C.C. Card Club, visiting with her grandchildren and spending time with her entire family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, DetmerCain.
Survivors include, two sons, Charles Henderson of New Martinsville, W.Va., and William Maxwell and his wife, Lynda, of Pittsburgh, Pa. Two daughters, Karen Stepic and her husband, Matt, of Calcutta and Rosey Williams of Port Charlotte, Fla. Two Sisters, Sally Ledford of Bedford Heights, Ohio, and Linda Arnett of Dayton, Ohio.
Branny will be greatly missed by her ten grandchildren; Matt and Rhonda (Hale) Stepic of New Manchester, W.Va., Tim and Kim (Simmons) Stipec of Chester, Brandon and Suzanne (Stipec) Hoppel of Calcutta, Mike and Lisa (Mehaney) Dennis of Port Charlotte, Fla., John and Karie (Dennis) Bishop of Punta Gorda, Fla., Gus Henderson and his companion, Mary Salwei, of Las Vegas, Nef., Clay and Kerri (Ferguson) Henderson of Charlotte, N. C. and Billy , Tommy and Danny Maxwell of Pittsburgh, Pa. And Twelve great-grandchildren; Eric, Craig and Jacob Stipec; Matthew and Megan Stipec; Vincent Hoppel, Mia and Malia Dennis; Aaron and Zachary Bishop; and Kierston and Charlie Henderson.
She is also survived by her dear friend, Mrs. Connie Rizor, and by her friends at Bob Evans.
In addition to her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeffery Dennis and a brother, William McKinney.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes with her cousin, Pastor James McMasters, leading the service
Burial will be at the Mill Creek Cemetery in Georgetown, Pa.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home in Calcutta Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
