Raymond V. Swearingen
Died March 13, 2004
CHESTER – Raymond V. Swearingen, 53, died Satruday, March 13, 2004, at the East Liverpool City Hospital.
He was born June 14, 1950, in Beaver, Pa., a son of the late Willis and Pauline Lutton Swearingen.
He was employed at the Homer Laughlin China Co. as a heister driver and graduated from South Side High School.
Survivors include his wife, Saundra Burns Swearingen at home; a son John Bickerstaff and his wife, Johnna of Puckett, Miss.; four daughters, Mrs. Melissa Kell and her husband Eric, Brandy Swearingen and Amanda Swearingen, all of Chester and Mrs. Tiffany Hissam and her husband Brian of Newell; a brother, Rich Swearingen and his wife Judy of Hookstown, Pa.; three sisters, Mrs. Lois Eisel and her husband Bill of Pennsylvania, Mrs. Jean McGaffick and her husband Tom of Akron, Ohio and Alma Moore of Hookstown; seven grandchildren, Bailey, Tracer, Dylan, Sydney, Ashleigh, Nathan and Jaedyn; and several nieces and nephews.
The Rev. Tm Haynes of Chester Church of the Nazarene will officiate funeral services Tuesday, March 16, at the Arner Funeral Chapel, 607 Carolina Ave., Chester. Burial will follow in Locust Hill Cemetery.
Friends may visit Monday at the funeral chapel where the family will be present from 12 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m.
