EAST LIVERPOOL – Bertha H. Mauk, 88, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, at Nentwick convalescent Home.
She was born Nov. 24, 1914, a daughter of the late Amos and Cora Taylor Errett.
Mrs. Mauk retired as a teacher from the Hancock County School system. She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and was a Christian by faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry F. Mauk, and a brother, David Errett.
Surviving is a son, Sam Mauk and his wife, Barbara of Wintersville, Ohio; a sister, Lois Poorman of Fort Myers, Fla.; and granddaughters, Regan Mauk and Hilary Steinmiller.
The Rev. Debra Dague of the First Methodist Church of Chester will conduct the services Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003, at 11:30 a.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may visit Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.
