Norman Temple
Died Feb. 17, 2006
EAST LIVERPOOL – Norman E. Temple, 78, formerly of Carmel Achor Road, Rogers, died Friday, Feb. 17, 2006, at East Liverpool Convalescent Center #1.
He was the son of the late Edward Marshall temple and Elda (King) Ross, born in Johnston, Ohio on July 17, 1927. Mr. Temple retired from the Homer Laughlin
China Company, where he was a kiln placer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Temple; two sons, Norman Franklin Young and Edward Temple, both of East Liverpool; a daughter, Shirley Laverna Fisher of East Liverpool, Ohio; four brothers, Harold Temple of Columbus, Ohio, Ralph Temple of Lisbon, J.R. Temple of Arizona and Alvin Bailey of Aberdeen, Maryland; three sisters, Samantha Reichart of Alliance, Ohio, Mary Watson and Maxine Smith, both of Calcutta; six grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at the East Liverpool Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Home on Monday at 3 p.m. with Minister Will Montgomery of the St. Clair Ave. Church of Christ officiating.
Friends may call at the East Liverpool Chapel on Monday from 1 to 3 p.m.
Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery.
