Hannah E.Stubbins
Died June 23, 2004
CHESTER – Hannah E. Stubbins, 101, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2004, at the Fox Nursing Home in Chester, where she had been a resident for the last nine years.
Hannah would have celebrated her 102nd birthday on July 10th.
Born and raised in Wellsville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Chris and Caroline (Aeckerle) Shoub.
Survivors include one son, George Curry and his wife Evelyn of Russell Heights; two grandsons, Chris Curry and his wife Debbie of Palm City, Fla., and Greg Curry and his wife Michelle of Greenwood, S. C.; one granddaughter, Vickie Wyand and her husband Ronald of Columbia, S. C.; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Hanna was preceded in death by her first husband, Ira Curry in 1947, and by her second husband, Roy Stubbins, in 1972. Also two brothers, Earl Shoub of Wellsville and Cnd Carl Shoub of Gary, Ind., are deceased.
Private funeral services will be held today, June 26, 2004, at the Roberts Funeral Home at the request of the family. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
