Harry David Herron

HANOVER TOWNSHIP – Harry David Herron, 85, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2004, in The Medical Center, Beaver, following a lengthy illness.
Born April 24, 1918, in Winona, Ohio, a son of the late John E. and Anna Zeitler Herron, he was a retired employee of the Crucible Steel Co Cold Strip Dept. with 34 years service. He was a farmer and a member of the Frankfort Presbyterian Church and the Beaver Valley Antique Equipment Association.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Arnold Herron; three sons and daughters-in-law, Harry J. and Tanya Herron of Hanover Township, Gail and Sondra Herron of North Sewickley Township, Ivan and Gina Herron of Elgin, Ill.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Craig Leuzinger of Lawrenceville, Ga., Marsha and Dale Weaverof Westborough, Mass.; 11 grandchildren, Neal (Julie) Herron, Brian Herron, Chris Leutzinger, Mark Leutzinger, Kristy and Kelly Herron, Ashley and Sara Weaver, and Amanda, Zachary and Bradley Herron. He also is survived by three brothers, Glen Herron of New Manchester, W.Va., Frank Herron and Paul Herron, both of Beaver; one sister, Eula Swain of Sun City, Ariz.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, John and Ray Herron.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Welch Funeral Home, Hookstown.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in the Frankfort Presbyterian Church by his nephew, the Rev. Dennis Arnold.
Interment in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Hookstown
