William Wayne Postlethwait, 51, of R. D. #3, New Cumberland passed away Wednesday, April 8, 1998 at East Liverpool City Hospital following a sudden illness.
He was born May 14, 1947 in New Martinsville, WV, a son of Mrs. Nettie (Koch) Postlethwait of New Cumberland and the late Forest Franklin Postlethwait.
He was employed by Weirton Steel Corp., whee he worked in the tin Mill Department, he was also a member of the Weirton Steel 25 Year Club. He was a Navy veteran and a Protestant by faith.
Surviving are one daughter, Lisa Stack of Conway, SC and her mother, Sandra Crago Psotlethwait of Myrtle Beach, SC; a companion of 7 years, Sharon Askounis; three sisters, Mrs. Maxine Mills and Mrs. Rodney (Edie) Walker, both of New Cumberland and Mrs. JoAnn Evans of New Manchester; one brother, Delmas Postlethwait of New Cumberland.
Services were held on Saturday, April 11, 1998 at 1:00 p.m. at the Turley Funeral Home in New Cumberland with Reverend Rick McCartney officiating. Burial will follow at he New Cumberland Cemetery.
