BLOOMINGDALE – Edith M. Ewaskovich died Thursday, July 26, 2001, at her residence of natural causes.
She was born in Marlton, Ark., a daughter of the late Lawrence and Lucille Montgomery.
She had attended St. John Fisher Catholic Church in Richmond and was the current treasurer of Compassionate Friends in Steubenville.


She is survived by her husband, pete Ewaskovich; two daughters, Sue Ralich Scarfo of New Cumberland and Mrs. Kenny (Joyce “Kennedy”) Bowman of Steubenville; a granddaughter, Carrie Kennedy of Steubenville, Two grandsons, Michael Ralich of Akron and David Kennedy of Steubenville; a great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Kennedy of Steubenville; three sisters, Ruth and Mary Helen of Little Rock, Ark., and Luanne of Dallas, Texas; and a brother, B. Montgomery of Little Rock.
She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Ewaskovich, who died in 1998; a grandson, John Kennedy, who died in 2001; and a brother, Lawrence Montgomery.
The Rev. Ron Williams will conduct services at 10 a.m. Monday at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Steubenvillle.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
