At City Hospital {East Liverpool, OH}
She was born in New Cumberland, April 20, 1936, a daughter of the late Robert and Lena Phillips Tice.
She was a homemaker and a Protestant.
She is survived by her husband, John Monroe, of Newell whom she married Oct. 2, 1954; four sons, John Monroe and Jeff Monroe of Newell, Randy J. Monroe of Chester and Larry Monroe of Monroe, Mich; two daughters Mrs. Stanley (Marilyn) Francezek of Newell and Mrs. Mark (Kelly) Six of Chester; a brother James R. Tice of Newell and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ed Tice.
The Rev. James Davidson will conduct a memorial service at 1 p.m. Monday at the Newell Chapel of the Nixon Funeral Home. Burial will be in Shadow Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. Monday until the time of service.
