NEW CUMBERLAND – Edward Wudarsky Sr., 79, Ridge Avenue, New Cumberland, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 1992, at Weirton Medical Center.
Born Sept. 4, 1913, in Weirton, he was the son of the late Valentine and Martha Nowakoski Wudarksy. He also was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters, and three grandchildren.
He retired from the tin mill department of Weirton Steel ad was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Cumberland; the church’s Holy Name Society, and the Weirton Steel 25 Year Club. He also was a former of New Cumberland Fire Department.
Surviving are his wife, Ann Krena Wudarsky; a son, Edward Wudarsky Jr. of Largo, Fla.; four daughters, Mrs. Dale (Marie) Brant of New Manchester, Mrs. Jim (Margaret) Merkich of Weirton, Mrs. Charles (Helen Jean) Conley of Columbus, Ind., and Mrs. Page (Ruth Ann) Cline of Citrus Heights, Calif.; a brother, Theodore Wudarsky of Weirton; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren
Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Turley Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church with the Rev. Father Ronald Getsinger officiating. Interment in New Cumberland Cemetery.
Scriptural rosary will be 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
