WEIRTON – Shirley L. Boag, 56, 161 Oak St., Weirton, died Friday, Dec. 11, 1992, at Weirton Medical Center.
Born Dec. 6, 1936, in New Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late George L. and Lessie Ryan Edwards. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Edwards, and a sister, Mary Hood.
She retired from Mickey’s Market, Weirton, where she had been a deli Clerk for 15 years, and was a member of Cove United Presbyterian Church. Weirton.
Surviving are her husband, Robert L. Boag; a son, Robert Daniel Boag of Ashland, Ky.; a daughter, Carol Ann Boag of Weirton; a brother, Earl Edwards of Colliers; three sisters, Mildred Matheny of Savannah, Ga., Mrs. Charles (Emily) Briscoe of Homosassa, Fla., and Mrs. Benjamin (Elizabeth) Chetock of Lisbon, Ohio.
Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Sunday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, Weirton, where funeral arrangements are pending.
