Patricia Johanne Orr
Died June 22, 2002

SALINEVILLE – Patricia Johanne Orr, 73, of Siegler Road, died at 7:26 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2002, at Alliance Community Hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Salineville Nov. 9, 1928, a daughte rof the late Clyde E. “Tip” Polen and Hazel Grace Frazier.
A lifetime area resident, she was the owner of Orr’s Amaco in Salineville. She also was a deputy registrar for license plates. She was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church and its choir. She wa a member of the Salineville Historical Society, the Red Cross, the Columbiana County Democratic Central committee, Election Board, Luminary Committee and Salt Festival Committee. She was a Salineville high School Class of 1946 Honors graduate and was avid in many community events and sang at many functions.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoay Orr; a granddaughter; a brother and a sister.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gary (Alice K.) Archer of Minerva, Ohio, and Mrs. Paul (Nancy) Bergert of Salineville; three sons, Joh Orr and his wife Lil of Odessa, Edl., Jack Orr of Dayton, Ohio, and Thomas Orr of Dover, Del.; five brothers, john E. Polen of Columbiana, Jack E. Polen of Malvern, Ohio, Robert E. Polen of Minerva, Clyde A. Polen of Salem and Paul James Polen of Vienna, Va.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Lay minister Mary Anne Frischkorn of the church will conduct services at 11 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2002, at the Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Salineville.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service Friday.
