Wade McCoy

HANOVER TWP.—Services will be held Thursday for Wade E. McCoy, 92, who died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004, at Beaver Valley Assisted Living in Georgetown following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Independence Township Nov. 27, 1911, a son of the late Thomas and Myrtle Beatty McCoy.
He retired from LTV Steel Corp.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Snyder McCoy; two sons, Thomas W McCoy of Aliquippa and Jack J. McCoy of Nashville, Tenn.; a daughter, Susanne McCoy of Aliquippa; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen McCoy.
The Rev. Kevin Neal will conduct the services at 11 a.m. at the Welch Funeral Home in Hookstown. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Cemetery in Hanover Township.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today.
