Mrs. Ruth Samberson, 82, of Cleveland Ave., died at Florida Hospital in Altamont Springs, Fla., Saturday at 4:10 p.m. following a long illness.
Mrs. Samberson was born Aug. 5, 1899, in St. Marys, W.Va, a daughter of Alex Bailey and Sarah Seevers Bailey.
She had resided here since 1912, and moved to Florida in February.
Mrs. Samberson was a member of the Chester Church of Christ.
Her husband, Abe Samberson, died in April 1949.
Survivors include two sons, Clinton Samberson of Orlando, Fla., and Ralph Samberson of Wellsville, a daughter, Mrs. Francis (June) Merrifield of Lakewood, Calif.; 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Services are to be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at eh Martin Funeral Home by Evangelist Frank Higgenbotham, assisted by Rev. Oswald E. Anderson.
Burial is to be in Locust Hill Cemetery in Chester.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon and night.
