CLEVELAND – Katherine Chuck, 103, formerly of West Point, died at 9:50 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at the Slovene Home for the Aged following a brief illness.
She was born in Celje, Austria, April 23, 1897, a daughter of the Charles and Rose Ojstrez.
She was s homemaker and a Catholic by faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Chuck and two sons, Edward Vidmar and Frank Vidmar.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Katherine) Amacher of Chesterland, Ohio, Mrs. James (Paula) Mariano of South Euclid, Ohio, and Mrs. Vincent (Elsie) Piet of East Lake, Ohio; two sons, Ernest Stucin and John Stucin of Windsor Heights, W.Va.; 17 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Father Robert Edwards of St. Georges Catholic Church will conduct services at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Eells-Leggett Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.
