NEW CUMBERLAND – Audrey “Eleanor” Littell, 71, died Friday, Aug. 24, 2001, at home.
She was born in Endicott, W.Va., March 16, 1930, a daughter of the late John and Pearl Pyles Riter.
She graduated from Hundred High School. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Cumberland Christian Church, where she served with the Christian Endeavor, was a Sunday School teacher and an overseer of the nursery. She enjoyed cooking and sewing.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in Death by two brothers, Ralph and Gary Riter, and a sister, Dora Bilby.
She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Little, at home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Duska and Ronald Whiteof Endicott, W.VA., and Marsha and Jim Ford of New Cumberland; six grandchildren and their spouses, Ron and Kara White, Ronda and Mark Ralph, Jam and Michelle Ford, Tonya and Kevin Fluharty, Dawn and Tommy Malick and Jennifer and Chris Enochs; 12 great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ray Riter of Endicott and Leroy Riter of Middlebourne, W.Va.; and two sisters, Fonda Sapp of Baytown, Texas, and Madge Hartley of Weirton.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2001, at the New Cumberland Chapel of the Nixon Funeral Home with Minister Rick Tinsky of the church officiating. Interment will follow at the New Cumberland Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m Monday at the funeral home.
