EAST LIVERPOOL -- Suzanne F. Rugh, 81, of Ohio Avenue, died Sunday April 11, 1999, at City Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born in East Liverpool Dec. 24, 1917, a daughter of the late Ralph A. and Hannah Mary Pyle Finley.
A lifelong area resident, she worked in association with her husband operating his medical practice. She was a 1936 graduate of East Liverpool High School and a 1939 graduate of West Penn Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh. She served on East Liverpool City Council for nearly 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. J. Keith Rugh, who died in 1998 and a son, Ralph E. “Kim” Rugh.
She is survived by two sons, Biff Rugh of Phoenixville, Pa., and Ed Rugh of Norman, Okla.; two brothers, Ralph A. Finley of Scottsdale, Ariz, and John Finley of East Liverpool; and two grandchildren.
Dawson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, which are incomplete.
