ROCHESTER, Pa. – Shirley Jone Gailey, 65, formerly of Ohioville, died Tuesday, July 10, 2001, at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
She was born in Ohioville Feb. 15, 1936, a daughter of the late Stephen and Helen Roseplier Jones.
She was employed in the chem. Lab department at the former Crucible Steel Colt Industries before retiring and was a member of the St. Blaise Parish.
She was preceded in death by a son, David Gailey.
She is survived by three, daughters, Rita Gailey of New Brighton, Mrs. Robert (Robin) Powell of Industry and Sharon Gailey of Aliquippa; two brothers, Richard Jones of Ellwood City, Pa., and Robert Jones of Industry; nine grandchildren and a great-grandson.
The Rev. Fr. Paul J. Savage will be celebrant of a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Saturday at eh Church. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Industry.
Friends may call at the D. L. Williams Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
