Services for Mrs. Edna VanFossen, 69, of Westfield Rd., will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Martin Funeral Home.
Mrs. VanFossen died Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Jackson General Hospital in Ripley, W.Va. She had been visiting relatives when she suffered an apparent stroke Friday.
Mrs. VanFossen was born in East Liverpool, Aug. 16, 1904, a daughter of Ira Wilson and Grace Saunders Wilson. She attended the Fellowship Tabernacle here. She was married to Joseph Van Fossen in 1922 at Leroy, W.Va.. He died November (97).
Surviving are four sons, Ira VanFossen of Chester, Robert VanFossen, Alfred VanFossen and Thomas VanFossen all of East Liverpool; seven daughters, Mrs. James (Erma) MCCraw, Mrs. Charles (Grace) hull, Mrs. Richard (Darlene) Moffett, Mrs. Georgia Powell and Miss Janet VanFossen, all of East Liverpool, Mrs. James (Esther) Shenton of Lawrenceville and Mrs. Matthew (Marjorie) Luketic of Aliquippa; two brothers, Rosco Wilson of Chester and Okey Wilson of Richmond, Ohio; five sisters; Mrs. Mary Meredith of Pomeroy, Mrs. Betty Turner, and Mrs. Lucille Calhoon of Florida, Mrs. Celesta Nutter of Wyoming and Mrs. Cora Males of Chester, 43 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren
The Rev. Gerald Miller of the Assembly of God Church will conduct the Tuesday services. Burial will be in Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens, Newell.
