Christopher J. Smay, 42, of Linwood, in Cincinnati, passed away April 20, 2009.
He is survived by parents Howard and Kay (Chamberlain) Smay, of Milford; sister Cathy (Donald) Robbins, of Loveland, OH; nephews and niece, Nathan, Zachary and Stephanie Robbins; grandmother Billie Smay of Saxonburg, PA; and uncles and aunts Ed and Naomi Chamberlain, of New Cumberland, Gary and Joyce Smay of Saxonburg, PA, and Eliane and Bill Mullineaux of Lancaster, PA.
Chris was a computer programmer and at one time, a cabbie in Cincinnati.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the New Thought Unity Center, 1401 E. McMillan St., East Walnut Hills, Cincinnati.
As Chris would have wanted, a celebration of his life was held immediately following at Arnold’s Bar and Grill in downtown Cincinnati.
Donations in Chris’ memory may be made to WNKU radio or local food banks and free stores. He also wished to have a willow tree planted nest to a river in his memory.
