EAST Liverpool – Robert T. Harding Jr., 62, of Ohio Avenue, died Tuesday, July 10, 2001, at City Hospital following a year’s illness.
He was born in East Liverpool Feb. 12, 1939, the son of the late Robert T. and Susan Croft Harding.
Mr. Harding lived his entire life in the area and had worked for several local potteries. He retired from the Iron City Distribution Co. where he worked as a truck driver.
He is survived by his lovely wife, Janice Taylor Harding, whom he married Nov. 23, 1968; two brothers, David A. Harding Sr. and Jeff Harding of East Liverpool; two sisters, Mrs. James (Merry Sue) Brown of Vermillion, Ohio, and Mrs. Kenneth (Marty) Cramer of East Liverpool. Several nieces and nephews, and his two faithful companions, Toby and Benjie.
Services will be held at the East Liverpool Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes at 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2001, with the Rev. Delmar Logston of the Oakland Free Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview cemetery.
The family will be present at the funeral home in East Liverpool to receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2001
