James Calvin “Jim Bob” Humbert III, 57, of New Cumberland passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at his residence.
He was born April &, 1952 in Waynesburg, PA, a son of James Humbert Jr. of Greensboro, PA and the late Gladys (Jamison) Humbert, who passed away December 2007. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jason Humbert in 2004.
He was a lighting specialist for Lightoiler in PA. He was a member of the Civil Air Control in Vietnam. Jim Bob held an associate business degree from Baltimore Community College. He was a Methodist by faith, a member of the NRA and a social member of the New Cumberland VFW Post #3526.
Surviving in addition to his father is his wife, Barbara Ellen (Hurst) Humbert, at home; a daughter, Brianna Humbert of Latrobe, PA; two step-children, Michelle Wallace and Richard Dennis, both of Weirton’ a sister, Trina Friday of Greensboro; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Turley Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Jerman officiating.
