Mildred Cooper, 85, of New Cumberland passed away Saturday, May 2, 2009.
She was born August 20, 1923 in Junction City, OH< a daughter of the late John and Nellie Ray McCoy. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest L. Cooper Sr.; a son, Ernest “Larry” Cooper Jr.; three brothers, Fred, Charles, and Tom McCoy and a sister, Hazel.
Mildred retired form Weirton Steel as a lab technician.
She is survived by a son, Robert K. Cooper of Weirton; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at the New Cumberland Chapel of the Nixon Funeral Home. Interment followed a the Union Cemetery in New Manchester.
