Mrs. Al Foutts Claimed at 26
Photographer’s Wife To Be Buried Friday.
Mrs. Betty Jane Carroll Foutts, 26, wife of Alton O. Foutts, Review staff photographer, died Tuesday at 1:45 p.m. in the Cleveland Clinic, following an eight-day illness of cerebral hemorrhage.
Mrs. Foutts was stricken Dec. 31 while at work as a bookkeeper in the office of the Kerr Lumber Co. She was taken to the clinic Saturday.
A daughter of Francis Carroll and Hazel Martin Carroll, she was born June 11, 1925, in East Liverpool. She was graduated from the local high school in 1943 and was married on Sept. 23, 1949.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and lived on Allison St.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she leaves a sister, Doris Carroll of East Liverpool.
Rites will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Martin Funeral Home by the Rev. M. Rudolph Miller. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Friends may call Thursday afternoon and night at the funeral home.
